Back issues of the Journal of Anatomy (Journal of Anatomy & Physiology from 1867 to 1916) have been made freely available on-line through PubMed Central. The Journal was one of the first English scientific journals. Although it is not directly related to the history of psychology, it contains many articles on the anatomy and physiology of the brain and of the senses. Scanning through the back issues, the author of the blog Mind Hacks came across an article entitled “Description of the Brain of an Idiot” that he found particular interesting.
