Collaborate on history of disability in Japan

University of TokyoDr. Mai Yamashita (Kyoto Sangyo University), an economic historian of nursing in Japan, is looking for possible contributors for a research project on the history of disability in Japan. The project, based at the University of Tokyo, will cover a wide variety of areas and themes related to the subject and contributors will be expected to produce a discussion paper.  Those interested are asked to contact either Mai Yamashita ( or Akihito Suzuki (

Jeremy Trevelyan Burman is a senior doctoral student in York University’s Department of Psychology, specializing in the history of developmental psychology and its theory (especially that pertaining to Jean Piaget).
