Collaborate on history of disability in Japan

University of TokyoDr. Mai Yamashita (Kyoto Sangyo University), an economic historian of nursing in Japan, is looking for possible contributors for a research project on the history of disability in Japan. The project, based at the University of Tokyo, will cover a wide variety of areas and themes related to the subject and contributors will be expected to produce a discussion paper.  Those interested are asked to contact either Mai Yamashita (mayama@cc.kyoto-su.ac.jp) or Akihito Suzuki (asuzuki@hc.cc.keio.ac.jp).

Jeremy Trevelyan Burman is a senior doctoral student in York University’s Department of Psychology, specializing in the history of developmental psychology and its theory (especially that pertaining to Jean Piaget). Prior to returning to academia, he was a producer at the Canadian Broadcasting Corporation.
